Thesis topic: Factors influencing the movement of large ungulates within a mosaic of forest landscapes and the implications for the success of stand regeneration

I am studying the movements and resource selection of deer in order to better understand the spatial and temporal variations in browsing pressure on forest regeneration. In this context, I am investigating the influence of artificial protections or landscape management on deer behaviour and the resulting impact on the consumption of young trees.
