Research Director-INRAE
I study the effects of global environmental changes on forest ecosystems. My work specifically examines the influence of climate change, nitrogen deposition, and historical land-use changes on ecosystem health, fertility, and biodiversity. I leverage a diverse toolkit including dendrochronology, isotopic analysis, soil science, and community ecology, supported by environmental databases and ecoinformatics.

Area of expertise:
-Forest ecology
-Historical ecology
-Global change
-Understory vegetation
