Thesis topic: Spatiotemporal dynamic of tree methane fluxes in upland forest

My research project focuses on characterizing the internal methane (CH4) dynamics within tree trunks. The objective is to understand the mechanisms of transport, in situ production, and consumption within the stem, in order to determine how these internal processes dictate net methane fluxes in temperate forests.

Area of expertise:

  • Methane fluxes
  • Spatiotemporal variability
  • Upland Forests
  • Methane emission, consumption and transport in tree trunk
