Thesis topic: Measuring photosynthesis and respiration in high time-resolution with eddy covariance and wavelet analysis

I study ecosystem photosynthesis and respiration using the eddy covariance method and wavelet analysis. My work focuses on high-frequency data processing and improving flux partitioning to better estimate gross primary productivity (GPP) and ecosystem respiration (RESP). The goal is to provide high time-resolution carbon flux measurements and improve our understanding of biosphere–atmosphere interactions under climate change.

Area of expertise:

  • Eddy covariance
  • Biosphere-atmosphere interactions
  • Wavelet analysis
