I conduct research on stomatal responses in several tree species (poplar, beech, oak) to different environmental stresses. This work relies on molecular biology approaches (gene expression), ecophysiology (leaf gas exchange), and anatomy (microscopy). To this end, I am developing a phenotyping platform focused on drought control and drone-based imaging, including thermal, multispectral, and now hyperspectral cameras.

Area of expertise:

  • Response of trees to environmental stresses (drought, ozone, high temperature)
  • Transpiration, water use efficiency
  • Stomatal dynamic
  • Inter specific diversity
  • Gas exchange, anatomy, microscopy

Research projects:

  • Monitree MONItoring TREE comfort inside cities
  • WITT Unravelling CRK mechanisms in wheat REsistance to ZYmoseptoria tritici
